In an effort to reduce the environmental impact caused by plastic waste, industrial recycling of PET into PET flakes or PET plastic flakes has become an increasingly popular solution. Nika makes a full contribution to reducing the environmental impact caused by plastic waste by recycling PET plastic flakes which are then resold to become useful new products.
PET Flakes Processing
PET flakes processing involves several important stages:
Collection –
Used PET plastic bottles are collected, crushed, and broken into small pieces.
Washing –
PET plastic flakes are washed intensively to remove dirt, labels and other residues. This washing is a critical step to ensure the high quality of the PET flakes.
Drying –
PET flakes are separated from water and then dried to avoid the growth of mold or bacteria.
Classification –
PET flakes are classified based on color and quality, enabling their use in a variety of applications.
